Orphanage Story

Our driver found out about an orphanage for children with developmental disabilities in the town of Kagarlyk, Kyiv region, by accident while delivering humanitarian aid to the military. There are 25 children under the care of the orphanage and since the beginning of the war they have not received any help and they have run out of food. There were days when the director of the orphanage went home with the children and asked people for food. They asked for something to feed the children they had forgotten about. Upon learning of this, our foundation purchased food for them. Later, a food warehouse was started on the basis of this boarding house, where mothers with children could apply for food. It is important and valuable that we were able to help these children.

Про дитячий будинок-інтернат для розумово відсталих дітей у місті Кагарлик Київської області наш водій дізнався випадково, коли возив гуманітарну допомогу військовим. Під опікою дитячого будинку знаходяться 25 діток і з початку війни вони не отримували жодної допомоги і в них закінчилися продукти. Були такі дні, що директор дитячого будинку разом із дітьми ходила по хатах та просила у людей їжу. Хоч щось, щоб прогодувати дітей про яких забули. Дізнавшись про це, наш фонд закупив продукти харчування. Пізніше на базі цього будинку-інтернату було зроблено продовольчий склад, куди могли звертатися мами з дітьми за продуктами. Важливо та цінно, що ми змогли допомогти цим дітям.
