Honoring Our Heroes
Her Second Shift
One of our earliest volunteers is Alina, a forensic medical expert in Lviv. Each day she performs the heartbreaking task of identifying the remains of fallen soldiers and civilians so families can finally know the fate of their loved ones. Yet after this grueling work, Alina comes home to another calling: rescuing the animals left behind when families fled the bombings. Alina now cares for nearly thirty injured or traumatized cats and dogs, treating wounds, giving medicine, and offering them safety in her own home.
Your support helps her continue this heavy, essential work, giving a second chance to the most vulnerable creatures of war.
Born Into a Fight
Sashko is the son of two heroes who met on the front lines. His mother, a military medic called “Mary,” and his father, a soldier known as “Stalker,” served together, fell in love, and welcomed Sashko into the world. Stalker was mortally wounded and died in Mary’s arms as she fought to save him. Sashko was very young and still doesn’t understand why his dad never came home. Mary carries this loss as she raises him alone while preparing to return to active service. We support her in this double burden.
With your help, we bring Sashko—and other children of war—moments of joy, especially during the holidays, so they know they are seen and cared for.
The Protector of Life
When the enemy attacked her native city of Kharkiv — miles from the border — Yuliya, a former judge with a doctorate in law, tried to enlist but was turned away. Refusing to stand aside, she found her own path into the Armed Forces and trained herself to become a combat medic. Today, she is one of the few medics still serving in Pokrovsk, a city under siege with heavy street-to-street fighting. She provides lifesaving care under constant fire, relying on determination and courage to keep her fellow soldiers alive.
We are honored to support Yuliya and other combat medics, giving them what they need to protect their soldiers and save lives when every moment counts.
Kindness in Action
Andrii “Dobro” — whose call sign means “Kindness” — ran fitness and riding clubs in Kyiv before the war. To protect his city, he joined the Territorial Defence and, after the enemy was driven back, turned to building lifesaving equipment for the front. His team repurposes EV batteries to make evacuation units and mobile stretchers—vital as drones have made standard vehicles unsafe. With access across the front, he delivers this equipment himself, often under real danger, and returns to refine each design.
We are proud to support Andrii and his volunteer team, helping them bring innovative, lifesaving tools directly to the troops who need them most.

Sometimes, even after losing their home, people do not lose what matters most - a kind heart ❤️
Tetiana was forced to leave her hometown of occupied Kramatorsk and now lives in Monastyryshche. In the village, she was allowed to stay in an old house, but despite all the hardships, she did not close herself off in her pain. Instead, she opened her heart to those who were also left without protection and care.
Tetiana began caring for stray dogs.
She feeds them, looks after them, and saves little lives every single day.
Our foundation could not stay aside, so we purchased food for adult dogs and puppies and sent help to Monastyryshche.

Тетяна була змушена виїхати з рідного окупованого Краматорська та тепер проживає в Монастирищі. У селі їй дозволили жити в старенькому будинку, але попри всі труднощі вона не замкнулась у своєму болі. Навпаки - відкрила серце для тих, хто також залишився без захисту та турботи.
Тетяна почала опікуватися безпритульними собачками.
Годує їх, доглядає та рятує маленькі життя щодня.

Sometimes help isn’t measured in numbers, but in the warmth it brings.
Our foundation purchased and delivered everything needed to support the soldiers of the 301st Brigade in their daily service: a generator, medicines, flashlights, and dry showers. These may seem like simple things at first glance, but in reality they mean light where there is darkness, health where it’s hard to maintain, and a sense of care where it’s needed most.
We believe that even small actions create great strength.

Easter is still going… in our messages 💛
Our foundation поздравила many children with the holiday, and we are still receiving photo reports from parents. Smiles, hugs, sincere emotions… this is exactly why we do what we do.
It is especially meaningful to see how happy the military are - it matters to them to know that their children are remembered and cared for. These are not just gifts. They are warmth, support, and a reminder that they are not alone.
Our volunteers also visited a family-type children’s home, where 12 children with very different life stories are currently living. We brought them gifts and food… and a little extra care that we wish to share with every child.
We received many words of gratitude, and most importantly - the children truly loved the gifts ❤️

This winter, warmth reached homes in rural Ukraine because of you.
Together with @u_kraine Ruslan Horovyi, our foundation delivered firewood to elderly people living in small villages. For many of them, firewood is not just fuel - it is the only way to heat their homes, cook meals, and get through freezing nights.
Your support turned cold houses into warm ones.
It gave people safety, comfort, and the feeling that they are not alone.
And our work doesn’t stop here.
We are already preparing for the next winter to make sure the most vulnerable people stay warm again.

When the lights go out, darkness doesn’t enter only our homes.
It enters the silence of elderly people. Into cold rooms. Into loneliness.
This winter, during power outages and severe frosts, our foundation supported low-income families and senior citizens. We provided power banks so they could stay connected with their loved ones. We brought warm clothing and blankets - to warm not only their bodies, but also the feeling that someone remembers and cares.
And do you know what was the most valuable part?
Not the power bank. Not the blanket.
But the words:
“Thank you for not forgetting about us…”
We are grateful to every donor who becomes part of this support. Because even a small act of help in someone’s life can become a great light.

Marina Smirnova from the city of Dnipro takes care of dogs and cats. Our foundation delivered animal food to Marina. Here is what she wrote to us. It is truly heartwarming to read:
“On my own behalf and on behalf of all my rescued tails, I want to say a huge thank you to the Ukraine Resource Fund and We Will Win Together for the assistance provided to us in Ukraine.
For us volunteers, this is an especially difficult time. The frontline is getting closer, and the conditions are extremely challenging: power outages, partial lack of gas supply, and frequent absence of heating.
In addition to hunger and cold, the animals need to be rescued, treated, and nursed back to health.
Unfortunately, resources are not unlimited.
Thank you for helping us purchase expensive therapeutic food for our senior rescued dogs. For older dogs, this is not just nutrition — it is health support and a chance to live without pain.
And special thanks to everyone who donates to this foundation and supports volunteers. Because of you, we are able to continue rescuing animals in Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv region, in the village of Vasyshcheve, there lives a person with a truly big heart — Tetiana Horiaieva.
For many years, she has been helping homeless animals:
feeding them, arranging sterilization, rescuing them from the streets, treating them, and finding them loving homes.
At the moment, 36 cats and 2 dogs are living under her care at home.
Every day, Tetiana feeds stray cats, whose number sometimes reaches 30 or more.
In total, this is over 65 animals that depend on her care.
Our foundation supports volunteers who devote their lives to helping animals.
Thanks to our donors, we were able to purchase and deliver food for the cats and dogs.
With the cold weather and frosts, proper nutrition is especially important for the animals to survive and stay strong.
Every bag of food means warmth, hope, and another day of life.

Nearly 4 years into the full-scale war — and almost 12 years since the war came to Ukraine…
Our defenders often thank us, the volunteers, for not forgetting them — but how could we? We have no right to forget.
Thanks to the Ukrainian army and our brave service members, we are still able to celebrate holidays, find moments of joy, make plans for the future, and live in a free Ukraine despite everything. They pay an incredibly high price to protect us all!
Let’s honor them not just with words, but with action. We keep working, we keep donating, and together we bring our victory closer.
